Promoting his new album, Radio Silence, the legendary MC Talib Kweli, once part of the hip-hop duo Blackstar with Mos Def, stopped by The Daily Show to talk about the freedom and resurgence of black nerds, his prolific twitter, and growing up in Brooklyn. Earlier in the week, he performed his gospel/soul influenced track “Heads Up Eyes Open” with Rick Ross. He also promoted his website Kweliclub.com, which sells Talib merch, powerful books, and his previous record, F**k the Money, available only online.
