Denzel Curry’s latest offering, Unlocked, was one of the most underrated projects of the past month, featuring production all throughout from Kenny Beats, rising producer and host of The Cave series on YouTube.
On “DIET_,” Denzel channels DMX more than he ever has before, and Kenny’s hard-hitting bass complements his rhyme scheme down to a tee. Curry may be from Florida, but there’s a vibe undeniably New York on Unlocked. This is Denzel’s first honor on the site, but it most undoubtedly will not be his last.
